About

Instagram is where most brands start with creators, and where a reach number is easiest to mistake for a result. Impressions are easy to publish. Downloads, customers and sales are not.

Every agency ranked below is scored out of 100 on four measures: creative quality, client impact, industry recognition, and revenue and growth. Client impact comes from results the agencies publish themselves, and on Instagram those run from Foot Locker's limited drop selling out in under two hours on 169M impressions, to Gap growing sales 6% year on year through a creator community, to USIMS taking 19.5K+ new customers from creators on NeoReach's own card. The entries say which of those each agency can show, and which it only implies.

Ogilvy

84 /100
New York, NY Global network agency, WPP

Ogilvy has been in business since 1948 and is the flagship agency of the WPP network, run from New York with offices in every major market.

On Instagram it works at the level of the idea. The pattern is a brand given something to say, executed at a size that reaches the press as well as the feed, with creators carrying it rather than fronting it. That is a different purchase from a creator programme, and it is bought by brands with a position to take. Ogilvy also publishes the work and not the numbers: most of its case pages carry an overview, an award list and no result, so this entry is short on figures by the agency's choice, not the page's.

LEVEL's Fly with Pride, a guide built for the airline's Barcelona sponsorship, delivered an 18% uplift in bookings and a 39% increase in revenue during the campaign period at a 20% engagement rate. Vaseline Verified put dermatologists behind the hacks people were already posting and drew 6,000 organic posts in its early weeks. Magazine Luiza's Lu is a permanent virtual creator Ogilvy has run for years, and the page publishes the idea without a figure.

Casting is only part of what you are buying here. The idea usually arrives first, and the creator layer carries it.

Best for a global brand buying a creative idea first, with creators where the idea needs them.

Edelman

83 /100
New York, NY 6,000-plus people, 28 countries

Edelman has been in business since 1952 and is a global public-relations firm run from New York with offices in every major market.

On Instagram it does earned-media programmes with creators inside them. A campaign starts with research or a position, creators carry it into their own feeds, and press picks it up because there is something to report. Results come back as impressions, sentiment and shifts in what people say they intend to buy, at a scale that is press reach rather than creator reach, and this card labels which is which.

Hellmann's UK Mayo Hack lifted purchase intent nine points and brand consideration 46%, on a 320% engagement increase and social impressions up 842%. Heineken's The Social Swap produced 1.4B+ total impressions and 77M campaign film views across 35 countries, and its F1 Drive-In for NHS workers reached 60M on social with 88% positive sentiment. HSBC's Sounds of Home earned 172M media impressions and 54 placements in global publications alongside 86K influencer post engagements, and Dove's Share The First moved purchase intent among girls 17 points to 83%.

Expect a research phase before anything goes live, and budget for it.

Best for a brand that needs the Instagram moment to reach the press as well as the feed.

Dentsu Creative logo

Dentsu Creative

73 /100
London, United Kingdom Global creative network, dentsu

Dentsu Creative was formed in 2022 when the dentsu network folded its creative agencies into a single brand. It is run from London and staffed in the thousands.

What it sells is the whole campaign. Instagram arrives inside a brief that also covers television, out of home and PR, and the creator layer is built to carry a launch moment at scale rather than to run month after month. Its own site blocks automated readers, so this entry rests on the cases published on the parent network's domain, which are few and large.

Foot Locker's The Hunt for Court People put a creator cohort behind a limited-edition shoe that sold out in under two hours, on 169M impressions. Intel's Project Athena campaign delivered 370M paid media impressions, 15% above goal, with 14.6K hashtag mentions. Klarna's Komm mal Klarna, an out-of-home-led German push, produced 600K organic reach and 15K app downloads.

Best for a retail or consumer brand that wants a launch drop carried by creators at scale.

YKONE logo

YKONE

70 /100
Paris, France 201-500 people, luxury and travel

YKONE was founded in Paris in 2008 and works in luxury, beauty and travel, with teams across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America.

On Instagram it runs the always-on programme. A fashion house, a resort or a destination is kept in creator content continuously, with launches and events dropped into a programme that was already running, and the numbers are the largest on this page. They are also blended across platforms and often held in decks rather than on the website, so only some of YKONE's record can be checked, and this entry uses the cases that can.

Experience Abu Dhabi's NBA Games programme reports 403.5M reach, 2.2B impressions and 24.8M interactions across a season of creator and celebrity travel. Wynn Las Vegas's creators programme delivered 417M impressions at a 2.2% engagement rate and $9.4M in earned media value, a media estimate rather than revenue. MEMO Paris's Memories of Abu Dhabi took 207.2M impressions and 1.3M interactions, Explora Journeys' inaugural season 74.5M impressions and 611.4K interactions, and Liu Jo's ORA campaign reached 19.3M with 686.9K interactions.

Best for a luxury or destination brand buying presence at scale, and willing to accept a blended figure for it.

Open Influence logo

Open Influence

69 /100
Los Angeles, CA 51-200 people, entertainment-led

Open Influence was founded in Los Angeles in 2013 and runs creator campaigns for entertainment studios, automotive and consumer brands from there.

What it sells on Instagram is delivery you can audit. Every result is printed beside the goal it beat, so the over-delivery is checkable rather than asserted, and its Instagram cases are all creator work on pages that resolve. What it does not publish is what anyone did next: across its Instagram cases there is no sale, sign-up or return, and the largest numbers are combined creator audiences rather than reach.

Moderna's #SPIKEVAX Community campaign delivered 503M+ impressions, 9% over goal, with 32M+ engagements at a 6.44% engagement rate and 71.8K+ clicks. FOX's Extracted launch put 100+ creators and 200+ assets behind 148.5M+ impressions and 7.5M+ engagements. Disney Pixar's Lightyear premiere hit 709% of its impressions goal, Macy's Metaverse Experience ran at a 19.7% engagement rate with 11.5K link clicks, and Subaru Loves the Earth drew 18.9M+ views and 16.2K clicks.

Expect a report that measures the media plan precisely and the business not at all.

Best for a studio, auto or consumer brand with a launch date and a delivery target.

Buttermilk logo

Buttermilk

66 /100
London, UK Beauty and fashion specialist

Buttermilk was founded in London in 2016 and runs creator communities for beauty and fashion brands from London, Dubai and Miami.

What it sells on Instagram is the standing community: creators kept on a brand across seasons and markets rather than cast for one launch, and reported against a KPI the page prints beside every result. That makes its percentages usable in a way most agencies' are not, and it is one of the few agencies here with a published sales figure. Its top-performer numbers are single posts by single creators, labelled as such below.

Gap's global community programme grew sales 6% year on year and brand mentions 198%, with Gap ranked first on the Business of Fashion Pulse Index. Nike's Chase the High produced 13M impressions at a 7.5% engagement rate and a 450% spike in product searches. Marc Jacobs' campaign activated 178 creators for 627K+ views at a 9.9% average engagement rate, Estée Lauder's holiday campaign drew 1M views at 9.3%, and Armani Beauty's community programme beat its views KPI by 60%, with one creator's post alone at 22M.

Best for a beauty or fashion brand that wants a creator community run against published KPIs.

We Are Social logo

We Are Social

66 /100
London, United Kingdom 1,300 people in 19 offices

We Are Social has run social-first campaigns from London since 2008, with offices from Los Angeles to Jakarta.

On Instagram it builds the idea first and the creator programme around it, and the idea usually gives people something to do. Its Instagram record is the largest on this page and a third of it is not creator work, so those cases are left out here; what remains verifies on its own site to the figure. One return it publishes has no basis stated, and it is quoted below with that caveat.

Under Armour's Flow State Challenge drew 54K participants and 129M views. Amazon Music's partnership with the Alpine F1 team delivered 94.5M impressions and 1.5M engagements, with a return the agency reports as more than double without stating the basis. Meta's Queens of the Metaverse reached 500M impressions through creators with a combined Instagram following of 30M. Samsung's #ToTheMakers produced 3.8M social engagements and a 3% rise in brand preference, and Lucozade's Ice Kick with Jude Bellingham took 39.3M impressions, 1.5M engagements and 13.6K new followers.

Best for a global brand that wants one creator idea built to travel across platforms.

Socially Powerful logo

Socially Powerful

61 /100
London, UK Global network, local market teams

Socially Powerful was founded in London in 2017 and runs social and creator programmes from London, New York, Dubai and Beijing.

What it sells on Instagram is the multi-region creator programme, and its one commercial figure is a programme result rather than a campaign one: an 18-month run, reported as a sales uplift. Everything else it publishes is views, reach, engagements and clicks, printed in stat blocks with no KPI, benchmark or spend beside them, so the totals cannot be checked against a denominator the way Buttermilk's can. Every figure is on a page that resolves.

The Body Shop's brand activism programme in the Middle East produced a 15% uplift in sales over 18 months, on 30M impressions and 17M reach. Ulta Beauty and L'Oréal's back-to-school #ShowUpBold challenge put 20 creators behind 137M views and 4M+ engagements, and IT Cosmetics' global campaign took 35M views and 3M engagements. Xiaomi's launch produced 20M views and 250K clicks, Biolage's category push 21M views and 600K engagements, and Leffe's cooking show on Instagram reached 3.5M people for 4M+ views.

Best for a brand that wants one creator programme run across regions, the Middle East included.

Viral Nation logo

Viral Nation

61 /100
Mississauga, ON Enterprise, social commerce

Viral Nation was founded in 2014 and runs creator campaigns from Toronto for gaming, entertainment and consumer brands.

On Instagram it reports against a target, and since it rewrote its case pages each figure carries a line on how it was captured, which is more than most of this page offers. Three of its rewritten pages now disagree with the numbers a directory holds for them, so this entry uses the pages. Its largest figure is a season-long programme rather than a campaign, and it is labelled that way.

e.l.f. Cosmetics' Marriage Material restock, fronted by one creator as CEO for a day, drew 18.9M views in 24 hours, hit #1 on TikTok Shop in the US across all categories and sold 50K units in 10 hours, with $857K in earned media value. Call of Duty League's season-long programme produced 96M impressions, 77% above the internal target, with subscribers up 32% year on year. ViewSonic's holiday campaign delivered 10.1M impressions and 76K clicks at a 2.5% click-through rate, 142% over target, Walmart Land's launch took 66M impressions and 235K visits, and MGM Resorts' Formula 1 takeover drew 16M impressions and 537.3K engagements.

Best for a gaming, entertainment or consumer brand that wants creator campaigns measured against a target.

Influencer

58 /100
London, UK Creator-founded, official Twitch marketing partner

Influencer was founded in 2015 and runs creator campaigns from London and New York, with a Riyadh office and a client list across consumer, retail and sport.

What it sells on Instagram is the multi-market programme, and it counts the markets: creators cast per country, one brief, one report across all of them, with the asset count and the creator count printed beside the reach. Its figures are reach and engagement rather than sales, and several of the case links a directory holds for it point at the wrong page, so this entry uses only the cases that live where they claim to.

Coca-Cola's Real Magic at Meal Time activated 33 creators across five European markets for 836 assets and 34.5M impressions. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's programme ran across seven markets for 359 posted assets, 6.5M engagements and a combined audience of 33.5M. H&M's loyalty-led relaunch ran across six markets for 22.3M views from 53 pieces of content, the top piece alone at 2.8M.

Best for a brand that needs one creator programme run consistently across several markets.

How to choose an Instagram influencer marketing agency

Instagram is the channel every agency claims and the one where the case studies say the least. Impressions and reach are on every page. What the campaign sold, signed up or downloaded is on a handful. If your last programme produced a big reach number and a shrug from finance, the job of a shortlist is to find the agency that measured something past the feed. Four questions do most of that work.

Ask what the reach figure counts

Instagram case studies mix four things under one word. Impressions count exposures. Reach counts accounts. A combined creator audience counts the followers of everyone cast, whether or not they saw the post. Earned-media reach counts press readership. All four appear on this page, and the entries say which is which. Ask for the platform figure behind any number, and whether it counts people or exposures.

Ask for the case with a customer in it

A few agencies on this page publish downloads, customers, sell-outs or a sales lift from a creator campaign, and one prints the target beside every result. Ask to see that case. If the agency's best Instagram result is reach, ask what it measured for a client in another category, because that tells you what it knows how to count.

Ask what the target was

Over-delivery percentages are common on Instagram case pages, and they are only checkable when the goal is printed too. Ask for the number the campaign was briefed against and who set it. A figure measured against a forecast the agency wrote itself describes the forecast, not the market.

Ask about month four

An Instagram programme is a habit, not a launch. Ask for campaigns run for the same client some months apart, what changed between them, and how many of the same creators came back. A shop running a repeatable programme gives a dull, specific answer about sourcing and cadence. A shop that caught a wave tells you about the wave.

Deal-breakers

Walk away from an agency that quotes a combined creator audience or earned-media reach as campaign delivery. Walk away from an over-delivery percentage with no target beside it. Walk away from a return on investment whose basis nobody can explain. And walk away from anyone who will not put creator fees, paid amplification, production and the agency fee on separate lines.

Frequently asked questions

Connect with us

Few agencies publish an engagement floor, and none of the agencies ranked here publish one on their own websites. Cost has three parts: the creators you book, whose fees scale with audience size, exclusivity and usage rights; the agency's fee, usually a retainer or a percentage of spend; and any paid amplification behind the posts. Ask for the three lines separately so a proposal can be compared with another one.

A result is something that was counted: a click, a download, a purchase, a booking. A media value is an estimate of what the same exposure would have cost as advertising, worked out by the agency using its own rate assumptions. Both can be useful, but only the first one lands in a sales report. When a case study prints a return multiple, ask whether the numerator is revenue or media value.

It depends on where the creator work sits in your plan. If Instagram creators are the campaign, a specialist that sources, briefs and measures in-house will usually move faster. If creators are one line in a launch that also runs press, events and paid media, a full-service agency keeps one team accountable for the whole result. Several agencies on this page publish cases of each kind.

The case studies on this page are the answer: sell-outs, sales growth, downloads and new customers are still being published from Instagram programmes in 2026, often alongside TikTok in the same brief. The two platforms do different jobs. Instagram tends to carry consideration and the click, TikTok tends to carry discovery. Most of the agencies here run both and report them separately.

A single campaign shows its numbers within days of posting. A programme takes longer, because the second and third flights are where creator selection and briefs get corrected against the first flight's data. Agencies that publish multi-market programmes on this page describe results that built over months. Plan the first quarter as the learning period and hold the agency to what changed between flights.

Influencer media value, sometimes called earned media value, is an agency's estimate of the advertising cost equivalent of the exposure a campaign produced. It is useful for comparing campaigns with each other inside one agency's reporting. It is not revenue, and a return multiple calculated against it is not a return on spend. Where an entry on this page cites a media value, it says so.

Usually yes, once the organic data has shown which creators and which posts are working. Paid amplification lets a brand put budget behind the content that already earned attention rather than guessing in advance. The condition is reporting: organic and boosted delivery have to be shown separately, or you cannot tell what the creators did on their own.

Because NeoReach publishes the page, its card is featured above the ranking rather than scored inside it. The ten agencies below it are scored on the same four measures in the same order, from their own published case studies. NeoReach's card is written from its own published Instagram case studies, which anyone can check at the links on it.

Ranking methodology explained

Every agency on a NeoReach ranking is scored out of 100. On this list that is four dimensions worth 25 each: three read off public records, one judged against a written rubric. A low score means the public record behind an agency is thin, which is not the same as saying its campaigns are weak. Plenty of good agencies publish very little.

Every agency here is scored out of 100, four dimensions worth 25 each, and no dimension outweighs another.

Client impact, industry recognition, and revenue and growth are read off public records: the brands an agency has published work for, how many of its cases carry a quantitative result, its awards and press, and its team size, tenure and office footprint. Creative quality is the one judgement in the model, made against a written rubric applied to every agency in the same order.

Membership is the Instagram test: more than one published campaign that names Instagram as a channel and carries a result.

Where two agencies finish level, the higher client impact score goes first, because that dimension is built out of published evidence.

The campaign facts in each entry come from the agency's own case studies, read in September 2026. Where a figure is a multi-year total, a paid-media impression count or a media value the agency worked out for itself, the entry names it as that.

NeoReach publishes this page. It is featured at the top rather than ranked on it, and carries no score here for that reason.

Why these 4 for this list

A brand shortlisting for Instagram is asking four things, and only one is whether the content looks good. Creative quality is whether a creator's post earns a stop in a feed built for friends, which on this platform is most of the job. Client impact is whether a result was measured and published at all, and on Instagram it separates a download or a sale from an impressions figure. Industry recognition is the only outside opinion in the model. Revenue and growth is whether the team can still staff your programme in month four, when the launch is over and the feed still needs feeding.

Creative Quality /25
Campaign originality, content innovation and creative execution, read off published case studies, the awards a body of work has taken and the campaign formats an agency actually runs
Client Impact /25
Measurable results delivered to clients: return, engagement, reach, revenue. Counted from the named brands an agency has published work for, how many of its cases carry a quantitative result, and how many client categories that work spans
Industry Recognition /25
Validation from outside the agency: awards weighted by tier, platform partnerships, tier-one press and conference presence
Revenue & Growth /25
Business scale and trajectory: team size band, years in market and office footprint

What is not counted

Anything an agency will only say in a pitch. Unpublished results, client logos with no campaign behind them, and awards entered but not won. Where an agency has nothing a dimension can count, it lands on that dimension's floor, and its entry says so.

The rubric is fixed, not set against whichever agency happens to lead. The same record earns the same points for every agency on the page, NeoReach included.
